Literature Text

I see you in your black and red,
Traditional goth chick.
So much more to me,
Am I coming on too thick?

I see you when no one else does,
When no one else will.
Can you deny your attraction to me,
Your loneliness I can fill.

We can save each other,
You and I can make our own nation.
You from your bleak, dark outlook,
Me from eternal damnation.

You need to lighten up,
I need to find a wife.
I can give you what you want,
You alone can give me life.

The parents you always wanted,
That you just got to know.
I can change their fate for you,
Just become my family, and to all we'll show.

You are more than what you seem,
I am more terrible than they dreamed.
We can take the world,
For our mercy, they we'll scream.

After all, we both have suffered,
From everyone's judgments on who we are.
We can make them see,
It's time we gave their egos a scare.

So come one,
Be my bride.
It's a win, win,
With us side by side.

Whattya say?
So I had my ipod on shuffle last night while doing the dishes, and "Shake, Shake Senora" from Beetlejuice came on. Don't ask me how the idea for this popped in my head from this song, I don't know. I chose not to question, but to write.
This is basically from Beetlejuice's point of view when he sees that Lydia has found the parents that she wants in Adam and Barbara, and in that there is oppportuinity. For those that hasn't seen the movie, if he gets married then he can stay in our realm forever. At this point Adam and Barbara might have to move away from Lydia, and that would devestate her. So he takes his chance and these are the kind of thoughts that I think he had to try and convince Lydia to marry him.
