DODEKA 10Chapter 10  The Beginnings of Hope   
I landed knees first on a white marble floor. The shock of pain shot straight through my body causing me to fall forward. Instinctively I shot my hands out to protect my abdomen. "Now, now. no manner of groveling is going to get you out of this. You both knew the rules...no lying. I don't care the reasons why; rules are rules," Zeus' voice boomed in what I assumed were the halls of Mount Olympus.   
"I'm not groveling, I fell," I replied rather indignantly.   
"If you were thinking of pleading your case, you may want to re-think your tone," Hera came from behind me, ligh DODEKA 10

DODEKA 9Chapter 9  The In Between   
I felt warm, soft grass on my left cheek. When did I lay down? Was all that a dream?  
 
I opened my eyes only to be blinded by the sun. Blinking furiously I tried to focus. Okay, first things first...where am I?   
Certainly this was not the festival grounds. I was in a lush, green clearing surrounded by woods. Where was Evander and the festival? If all else was a dream then what is this? "From one nightmare into the next..."   
"I'm afraid you've not been dreaming."

DODEKA 8Chapter 8  Loves' Lost   
It's been a year since the Olympian wedding. I found my niche in the Festival; playing my pan pipes while Evander played the lyre and sang. Sometimes we even sang together. Becca would come and meet us when we were in nearby cities; and she continued her heated on-again/off-again relationship with Mars. It was pretty much a dream life...fate knew what it was doing after all.   
Lately, however, I hadn't been feeling too well. At first I attributed it to all the changing climates: winter in New York, spring in Florida, summer in Texas, fall in Colorado; but I was wrong.

DODEKA 7Chapter 7  The gods and goddesses   
The last day of the festival was cut short. All the demigods were hard at work creating a magical yet formal atmosphere for the wedding.  
 
"T-minus four hours."   
"Not an encouraging thought Becca."   
I fiddled with the hem of my dress. It was sleeveless, v-necked, and whit with silver trimming. Our new friends Bella and Donna did my hair in an ornate bun with little ringlets cascading throughout.  
 
In the midst of all this, Mars decided to burst in. Well, this caused Bella, Donna, and Becca to go into a frenzy.

...or my cursed number...either way you look at it that number is 10.

I'm stuck...in need to do some more research before continuing with the next chapter, but thankfully I'm in Vermont and have loads of time this weekend to write so it shouldn't take too long.

Thank you to everyone for the bday wishes and again for reading my story. Which by the way has been renamed DODEKA. Big thanks and all credit to ~FrE3-R4diCaL for letting me know the proper English spelling for the Greek word for 12. those of you who know me best know I'm very particular about this stuff so it was greatly appreciated! :D

Please keep the comments and critiques up cause I definitely want to keep getting better. Well I do believe I am off to watch a movie and bed...g'nite all!

DWDEKA is greek for twelve; my story that's titled dwdeka is kind of like a modern greek myth and twelve is a running theme :)

remember it's art , you name it as you like (my suggestion should be given credit before entitling)
+ all those who know it as DWDEKA wouldn't accept even if you renamed it to Dwdeka (you get my point),
and also my in opinion, the title as it is has some impact on the content
anyway, sorry if i filled you with doubt

question solved , the proper writing is dodeka , dwdeka is more greenglish, i'll drop by again and read it, cheers :)
